During the past 70 years, Hebei University of Economics and Business (HUEB), a key university in the province, has become a multidisciplinary financial and economic institution focusing on economics, management and law, while combining philosophy, literature, science, engineering and art. HUEB is located in the waterfront landscape belt of the western ecological zone in Shijiazhuang City. Covering an area of over 2630 acres, the campus, 40% of which is of green area, has been awarded the title of "National Greening Model Unit".
